Cathy

This, being one of my best shots, was taken completely randomly. We had biked to this little hamlet near the lake, as she seemingly didn't know it existed. I took some photos of the lake when we were there, and I took this one randomly but turning around and pressing the shutter before any reaction (from the camera auto-adjusting its exposure or her) could be made, to make a candid effect.

Resubscribed. Also, Christmas!

So, I've resubscribed. I'm sorry, but these new user pages are just really, really awesome. I couldn't help myself. I know that for a while, they've been trying to come up with a reason to subscribe, and here it is!


Anyway, so Christmas has passed. Today is Boxing Day. I got a "meh" stash this year. I got:

  • Two boxes of Hazelnut chocolates. One is President's Choice, and the other is Ferrero Rochers, but they taste the same. I love these, though. Mmm.

  • Lots of cologne. I mean LOTS. I'd say enough to last me half the year, if I took a good swig on my self once a day.

  • A "male hygiene kit", which I don't think was meant as an insult.

  • A watch.

  • An external hard drive - 500GB. Wow. I'm pretty sure I'm going to use this up pretty quickly, as I'm building a repository of TV shows for the house network. Seinfeld, Dexter's Lab...maybe even Friends. I dunno. Right now, it says I have 385GB left, and this is after moving all my Steam games, all my music, and sticking on two complete shows.

  • The Simpsons - Season Two. I barely saw season 2, so this is cool.

  • $150.

  • Lottery tickets.



    • I spent $100 on a decent headset, decent speakers (to get rid of this broken chair that is currently playing my music), and a 3 month subscription. The headset and speakers are on priority shipping, so I'm expecting them either Monday or Tuesday.



    I gave two books and I'm still about to pick up MT's gift (it's online-only and I still need a prepaid credit card, which I'm expecting really soon).

    365 Project

    Some of you already know about this, but I've undertaken a project in where I take a picture of something - myself, the area, an object, anything - once a day, starting on my birthday. For some strange reason, my birthday is 100 days away from Christmas, so yesterday was day 100.



    Since it is the first milestone, after all, I've decided to share the highlights of the first 20/73th (or 100/365) of my life. Click on the picture to see it on Flickr. As you click, you will notice that each photo has a story. Each picture is a day of my life. My children will thank me, I'm sure.
